Dear Mill Hill Families,
Welcome to the 23-24 school year! I hope that you and your families were able to spend time this
summer doing things that you enjoyed and made you feel rested and refreshed. I am so excited to
start this year on the first day of school on Tuesday, August 29th. This will be a full day of school for
all students.

Dear Moms of Mill Hill,

Happy Mother’s Day! I want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible moms in our school community. Your love, dedication, and support are truly remarkable, and I am honored to express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you.

The U.S. Department of Education announced on April 20, 2023, that Mill Hill Elementary School in Southport, CT is among the 2023 U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools award honorees.

What a beautiful exhibit we had this year! The variety, the color, the creativity were all breathtaking and inspiring! We are so impressed and proud of our students and their creative skills! Thank you to Mrs. Giannetta for all her efforts throughout this year and in preparing such a beautiful show.
